Content Creator

Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and create engaging visual and written content for social media, blog, email newsletters, website, and marketing campaigns.
• Capture high-quality photos and videos of furniture pieces, interior design projects, and behind-the-scenes processs.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand voice and aesthetics
• Schedule and manage content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Monitor analytics to assess content performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Stay updated with digital trends, particularly within the interior design, lifestyle, and furniture spaces.
• Occasionally visit client sites and showrooms to document real-life transformations and customer experiences.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (optional if supported by strong portfolio).
• 2+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing — preferably in design, lifestyle, or luxury markets.
• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator), CapCut, or similar tools.
• Skilled in mobile photography/videography and basic editing.
• Understanding of SEO, hashtags, content scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later), and platform algorithms.
• Strong visual storytelling and copywriting abilities.
• Attention to detail and a good eye for design aesthetics.
• Passionate about interior design, architecture, and African craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not Required):

• Experience with Reels/TikTok trends and viral content.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce and product marketing.
• Experience working with design or furniture brands.
