We are now expanding our impact by creating content focused on salary transparency and career insights specific to Lagos’ job market.
Role Overview: We are seeking a creative and motivated Video Content Creator based in Lagos. Your role will involve visiting various locations around Lagos to interview professionals, gather salary information, and share insights into different tech roles and industries. You’ll be responsible for creating at least 8 interviews per week, focusing on real-world salaries and career advice to help job seekers understand the earning potential in Lagos’ tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct at least 8 interviews per week, visiting locations to speak with professionals across Lagos.
- Collate and analyse salary information from interviews to provide accurate insights.
- Produce high-quality, engaging videos focused on salary transparency and career advice in Lagos.
- Edit and deliver videos that are clear, concise, and visually appealing for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- Collaborate with the Techlerator team on content ideas and strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends to ensure your videos remain relevant and engaging.
Requirements:
- Currently studying Media, Film, Communications, or a related field (NYSC graduates encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
- Strong interviewing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and conduct on-location interviews.
- Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- Passion for career transparency and helping others navigate their job search.
Compensation:
- Paid position: N125,000/month.
