Control-Room Operator

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate control systems and machinery to ensure smooth production of poultry feeds.
• Oversee the entire production process, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with operational standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment or system issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular system checks and maintain logs of operational activities and performance metrics.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations during all production activities.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Adjust control settings to optimize feed quality and production efficiency.
• Respond promptly to alarms, malfunctions, or emergencies to prevent production disruptions.
• Analyze data from control systems to identify trends, inefficiencies, or potential problems.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of production metrics and control room operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth coordination.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Technical knowledge of control systems, machinery, and production processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address operational issues.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and control system displays.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, standards, and procedures in an industrial environment.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on operations.
• Attention to detail to monitor processes and maintain accurate records.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic computer skills for data analysis and report generation.
• Availability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Certification in industrial control systems or a related field is an advantage.
• Knowledge of poultry feed production processes is a plus.
