The Cooling Specialist is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. This role requires expertise in diagnosing system issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in cooling systems.
- Perform regular maintenance to prevent system failures and optimize efficiency.
- Ensure HVAC systems comply with local regulations and safety standards.
- Work with clients to assess cooling needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate service records and provide reports on system performance.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on complex installations.
- Be available to travel on short notice for emergency repairs, installations, or client support.
Requirements:
- Certification in HVAC technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in cooling systems.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical components, and system troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel on short notice as required by project needs.
Additional skills:
- EPA 608 Certification (for handling refrigerants).
- NATE (North American Technician Excellence) Certification.
