Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Writing Clear and Engaging Copy: Craft compelling content for websites, ads, emails, brochures, product descriptions, and other marketing materials.
  • Developing Content Ideas: Brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns and content pieces in collaboration with the marketing team and other stakeholders.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit copy to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with brand voice and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with Designers and Marketers: Work closely with design and marketing teams to ensure alignment between copy and visuals or campaign strategies.
  • Researching Products and Audiences: Conduct research on target audiences, industry trends, and competitors to create relevant and persuasive content.
  • Adapting Copy for Various Formats: Write copy that works across different formats, including social media, websites, email campaigns, print materials, and advertisements.
  • Maintaining Brand Consistency: Ensure all copy aligns with the brand’s tone, style, and values across all platforms and materials.
  • Conducting A/B Testing: Help develop different versions of copy to test performance and make data-driven decisions for optimization.
  • Incorporating SEO: Optimize copy with appropriate keywords and phrases to improve the content's ranking on search engines.
  • Meeting Deadlines: Manage time effectively to deliver projects on time, often under tight deadlines.



Requirements:

  • Proven Experience in Copywriting: 1-3 years of experience in writing for various platforms such as websites, emails, ads, blogs, or social media.
  • Strong Writing and Editing Skills: Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and spelling with the ability to write clear, concise, and compelling copy.
  • Creativity and Conceptual Thinking: Ability to develop original ideas and transform them into persuasive content across different formats.
  • Understanding  Different Tones and Styles: Flexibility to adapt writing styles for different brands, audiences, and platforms.
  • Research Skills: Ability to research industry trends, products, and target audiences to create informed and accurate content.
  • Marketing and Branding Knowledge: Familiarity with marketing strategies and branding principles, as well as how to craft copy that supports both.
  • SEO Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SEO, including the ability to incorporate keywords naturally into the copy for search engine optimization.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail to ensure that all copy is error-free, consistent with brand guidelines, and meets high-quality standards.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple writing projects with different deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS): Experience with tools such as WordPress, HubSpot, or other CMS for managing online content is a plus.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience working closely with designers, marketers, and other teams to deliver cohesive and effective content.
