Corporate Finance Associate

Responsibilities:

• Support transaction execution – management of virtual data rooms, investor Q&A, preparation of all relevant financial, legal, environmental, and corporate documents, investor on-site visits, advisor selection and coordination
• ​Support the team with the organisation, preparation and customization of investor marketing materials
• Analyse, map out, and present performance metrics for the business
• Develop and maintain high-quality and comprehensive financial models and analysis to support WATT’s medium to long-term priorities
• Draft monthly performance reporting for our senior stakeholders including our investor universe
• Ensure orderly tracking of our investor universe and status
• Liaise with all other business units to challenge the status quo, implement new ideas, investigate and implement more efficient solutions and processes
• Collaborate with the finance control team for investor reporting, covenant compliance, budget variation, financial statement analyses
• Assist the Executive on other projects and tasks as required

Requirements:

• 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, consulting, or startups - Big-4 trained is an advantage
• Appreciation for a lean, pre-series working environment where hustling, resourcefulness, results-orientation and an entrepreneurial approach are indispensable
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of G Suite products, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
• MBA with excellent academic performance
• Authorised to work full-time in Nigeria; available to start as soon as possible
