Job Summary

The Country Foundation & Grant Manager will provide visionary leadership to Arc-Lights Foundation while taking direct responsibility for securing and managing grants. This dual role requires an individual who is equally skilled at organizational strategy and detailed grant management. The Country Foundation & Grant Manager will lead all operations, foster strategic partnerships, and ensure the financial sustainability of the organization while actively identifying funding opportunities, preparing proposals, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Execute a strategic vision aligned with the Foundation’s mission and goals.
  • Foster innovation and a results-driven culture within the organization.
  • Represent the Foundation to stakeholders, government bodies, and the community.


Grant Management

  • Identify, apply for, and manage grants to secure funding for programs and operations.
  • Build relationships with donors, grantors, and funding agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements, including reporting and financial tracking.
  • Collaborate with program teams to align grant objectives with organizational goals.


Operational and Financial Oversight:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient program delivery.
  • Manage budgets, allocate resources, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Drive fundraising efforts beyond grants, including donor relations and sponsorships.


Program Development and Execution:

  • Oversee the design and implementation of educational programs, including STEM and teacher training initiatives.
  • Monitor program impact and ensure alignment with community needs.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing team members.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and accountability systems for all staff.


 Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and sustain relationships with government entities, private sector partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Advocate for policies that promote equitable and innovative education.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the Foundation to enhance its visibility and reputation.


Requirements:

  • 10 years of proven leadership experience, with a strong track record in grant writing and management.
  • Deep understanding of the education sector, STEM, and technology-driven solutions.
  • Experience in fundraising, donor engagement, and financial management.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in education, business, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
