Job Summary
The Credit Officer will be tasked with the responsibility of evaluating loan applications to determine the eligibility of an applicant for a loan option, assessing creditworthiness, scrutinizing credit risk and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will play a crucial role in the lending process by providing accurate credit assessments and recommendations to support our clients' financial needs.

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze loan applications and financial documents to determine credit risk.
- Conduct credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Evaluate applicants' financial status, credit history, and ability to repay loans.
- Make informed recommendations regarding loan approvals or denials.
- Ensure compliance with lending policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Communicate with applicants to gather additional information and clarify any discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for loan decisions.

Requirements:
- B.Sc. in any related discipline.
- Must have completed NYSC.
- A minimum of 2 - 5 years of work experience as a Team Lead in a financial sector is mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Strong leadership skills
