Crypto Investment Analyst (Nigeria-Remote)

This is a Remote role with a salary range Salary range of $141.000 - $161.000/year but is MANDATORY To be based in Nigeria. As a Crypto Investment Analyst, you will identify and evaluate emerging cryptocurrencies and Web3 projects with the potential for exponential returns, influencing investment strategies and maximizing ROI for clients.

Candidate Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in investment analysis, preferably within the crypto, blockchain, or fintech sectors.
• Exceptional ability to conduct detailed market research, financial analysis, and project evaluation.
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and emerging Web3 innovations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment theses clearly and persuasively.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a knack for developing contrarian viewpoints and uncovering untapped investment opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

Desiderable:

• Advanced degrees or certifications in finance, blockchain, or cryptocurrency investments are a plus.
• Knowledge of Crypto, especially DAO’s and Middleware.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
• Passionate about the crypto-asset industry and investing.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Self-organized in a remote-first work environment.

Job Responsabilities:

• Scout for early-stage crypto and Web3 projects that exhibit potential for 100x ROI, focusing on those not yet in the mainstream spotlight.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses to form and present non-consensus hypotheses about the potential of selected projects, focusing on market demand, innovation, scalability, adoption potential, and team execution capabilities.
• Compile detailed investment memos that articulate your hypothesis, supporting analysis, ROI projections, and risk assessment strategies in a concise and compelling format.
• Develop and present persuasive pitches to the investment committee, highlighting your unique insights and defending your investment thesis against critical evaluation.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the crypto and blockchain landscape to inform investment decisions.
• Work closely with the investment team to refine investment strategies and contribute to the firm's overall investment portfolio performance.
