Cybersecurity Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver an engaging and relevant cybersecurity curriculum for intermediate-level students.
• Design hands-on labs, projects, and assessments that challenge students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.
• Keep course content up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging threats, and technological advancements.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, helping them grow and refine their skills.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and industry experts to continuously enhance the quality of our cybersecurity program.
• Stay current with industry certifications and share insights with students, guiding them toward professional growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the cybersecurity field, with hands-on expertise in areas such as network security, penetration testing, cryptography, incident response, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or teaching/training.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Passion for staying updated with the latest trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices in cybersecurity.
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for a diverse group of students.
