Data Science Tutor

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach students how to gather, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, addressing missing values and outliers.

• Guide students through Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to summarize data characteristics and visualize distributions and relationships.

• Instruct students in applying statistical methods for data interpretation and informed decision-making.

• Cover essential machine learning concepts, including supervised/unsupervised learning, model selection, and evaluation techniques.

• Teach effective data visualization techniques using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau to communicate insights clearly.

• Provide hands-on experience in programming languages such as Python and R, focusing on libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.

• Assist students in completing projects that simulate real-world scenarios, improving their problem-solving skills and building their portfolios.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proven experience as a data science tutor or similar role, with a solid understanding of data science methodologies and tools.

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant data science libraries and frameworks.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

• Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring is highly desirable.
