Job Title: Dentist

Location: Redemption City of God, Mowe, Ogun State.

Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and treating oral health issues. The Dentist should possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

1.     Patient Consultation and Diagnosis

·        Conduct thorough oral examinations to assess patients' oral health.

·        Diagnose and communicate dental conditions, treatment options, and recommendations to patients.

2.     Treatment Plan and Execution

·        Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and oral health conditions.

·        Perform dental procedures, including but not limited to cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown placements.

3.     Preventive Care

·        Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.

·        Administer fluoride treatments and sealants as necessary.

4.     X-rays and Diagnostic Test

·        Order and interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic tests to aid in accurate diagnoses.

·        Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

5.     Emergency Dental Care

• Provide prompt and effective emergency dental care when required.
• Address and alleviate patients' dental pain and discomfort.

6.     Collaboration with Dental Team

• Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow and quality of care.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.

7.     Continuing Education

• Stay abreast of advancements in dentistry through continuous learning and professional development.
• Participate in continuing education courses to enhance skills and knowledge.

8.     Infection Control:

• Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile dental environment.
• Implement best practices in infection prevention and control.

9.     Patient Communication:

• Communicate treatment plans, procedures, and post-operative care instructions clearly to patients.
• Address patient concerns and inquiries with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Dental Surgery

·        Registered member of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

·        Foreign-trained specialists must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

·        A valid practicing license.

·        NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter

·        Proven experience as a licensed Dentist.

·        Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.

·        Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

·        Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Monetary Remuneration:

·        The monetary renumeration range is between N280, 000 – N350, 000 amongst other benefits.
