The candidate will assume overall responsibility for the achievement of Farm operational and eggs production targets on a daily basis

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Attraction, selection, and hiring of farm attendants.
- Training of attendants and tasking of supervisors
- Monitor bird's health daily, including feed water intake, body weights, and overall physical examination Monitor the operating environment for widespread animal health events such as bird flu. Prepare daily and weekly animal health surveillance reports.
- Planning and execution of routine medications: Lasota vaccinations, deworming/delousing flushing, and sterilization of drinker lines,
- Conducting effective post-mortem examinations and utilizing these to improve avian health in liaison with the farm vet
- Selection of best value feed based on site performance, egg qualities eqq numbers, etc.
- Conduct QA/QC on feed received as they arrive at the farm.
- Recommend feed rates, medication, and vaccination for the birds. Monitor feed performance on site or with lab analyses and recommend feed with the most value. Propose mixing formula for in-house feeds
- Ensuring egg production target is met every day and identifying and addressing root causes if not so. Carrying out samples of key production parameters.
- Planning supply and delivering of products to stores
Requirements:
- 5 years of cognate experience
- Minimum of HND in a related field
