Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and functional architectural designs from initial concept through final design.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into design solutions.
- Prepare detailed drawings, models, and presentations for client approval.
- Coordinate with project architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and sustainability practices.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and architectural interns
Requirements:
- Minimum of B.Sc/HND in Architecture.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet tight deadlines.
