Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic fundraising plans to meet the organization's financial goals.
- Identify and research potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities.
- Prepare grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and fundraising campaign materials.
- Maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
- Track fundraising progress, analyze data, and prepare reports on development activities.
- Organize and manage fundraising events, including logistics, promotion, and donor engagement.
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to optimize workflows and resource utilization.
- Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial performance in collaboration with the finance team.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure project timelines, deliverables, and milestones are met.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to support operational needs.
- Support strategic planning efforts by analyzing industry trends, market conditions, and organizational performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to inform decision-making and long-term planning.
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison between different departments to foster communication and collaboration.
- Ensure that team members are informed about organizational goals, updates, and priorities.
- Coordinate with the marketing and communications team to develop promotional materials for fundraising campaigns and events.
- Maintain accurate records of development activities, donor information, and operational data.
- Prepare regular reports for management on the progress of development initiatives and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all areas of development and operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in the same or similar field
- A degree in HND/BSc. in a relevant course of study
