Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and automated deployment of applications.
- Implement and manage tools for automation, monitoring, and alerting.
- Write and manage infrastructure configurations using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Work with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to manage scalable infrastructure.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions for systems and applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Work with software development teams to ensure smooth and reliable release cycles.
- Improve the development processes by identifying bottlenecks and suggesting better workflows.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure security, scalability, and disaster recovery practices.
- Automate routine tasks such as system health checks, backups, and software installations using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Deploy and manage services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Optimize cloud costs and usage to maximize efficiency.
- Maintain version control systems, primarily using Git, and collaborate with teams on managing branches, merges, and pull requests.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or TravisCI.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Proficient in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications.
- Strong experience in Linux/Unix environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
