Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) optimized for mobile and web applications.
- Develop and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines tailored for mobile and web application development.
- Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes to automate environment provisioning and deployment workflows.
- Implement tools (e.g., New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to monitor the performance of APIs, databases, and front-end services for mobile and web apps.
- Apply best practices for securing APIs, mobile backends, and web applications, including vulnerability management and secure configurations.
- Partner with developers to optimize build, test, and deployment workflows for mobile and web platforms.
- Maintain detailed documentation for systems architecture, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role supporting mobile and web applications.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bitrise for mobile, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools suited for mobile and web apps (e.g., Firebase Performance Monitoring, Datadog).
- Solid understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of mobile-specific requirements (e.g., app store deployments, and mobile backend optimization) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
