DevOps Engineer - Data Engineering and Pipeline Management

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust infrastructure to support high-volume streaming.
• Manage deployments on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, optimizing for performance and cost.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless software updates and quick bug fixes.
• Implement automation tools to streamline our deployment and operational processes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable uptime for all streaming services.
• Optimize applications and infrastructure for maximum speed and scalability.
• Work closely with software developers and network engineers to improve the end-user streaming experience.
• Ensure effective communication across teams to implement DevOps practices.
• Implement and maintain security practices to protect data and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding data handling and privacy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a media streaming or related industry.
• Strong experience with major cloud services, particularly AWS.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or other languages.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Familiarity with network diagnostics, network analytics tools, and detailed understanding of content delivery networks (CDNs).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Great communication skills.
