Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises servers to ensure high availability and reliability.
Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
- Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to streamline application delivery.
Configuration Management:
- Implement and manage configuration management systems using Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Ensure consistency across development, staging, and production environments.
Monitoring and Logging:
- Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
- Develop dashboards and alerts to monitor system performance and health.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to maintain a secure infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
