DevOps Practitioner

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises servers to ensure high availability and reliability.

 

Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to streamline application delivery.

 

Configuration Management:

• Implement and manage configuration management systems using Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Ensure consistency across development, staging, and production environments.

 

Monitoring and Logging:

• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• Develop dashboards and alerts to monitor system performance and health.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.

 

Security and Compliance:

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to maintain a secure infrastructure.

 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
