Position Overview
Cannon Projects is seeking a talented Digital Communication Specialist to spearhead our digital presence across our business arms- Airbnb, hotels, construction and restaurant sectors. This role is pivotal in creating and managing innovative digital strategies, with a focus on web design, social media advertising and content development. The ideal candidate will drive online engagement while reflecting the company’s values of excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Web Design and Management
Design and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly websites for Cannon Projects’ diverse business arms.
Ensure mobile responsiveness and SEO optimization to attract and retain visitors.
Regularly update content to showcase our services, campaigns and brand story.
Integrate booking systems, project portfolios, and menus where relevant.
Social Media Advertising
Develop and execute targeted ad campaigns for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn.
Customize campaigns to resonate with specific audiences in the hospitality, construction, and dining sectors. Track and analyze ad performance metrics to ensure high ROI and adjust strategies as needed.
Content Creation and Strategy
Produce high-quality, brand-aligned digital content (e.g. blogs, videos, newsletters) to engage and inform our audience.
Craft content that highlights Cannon Projects’ commitment to excellence, innovation and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all digital platforms.
Analytics and Reporting
Monitor and report on website traffic, social media engagement and campaign success.
Use insights to propose data-driven improvements to digital strategies.
Provide quarterly presentations on digital performance to management.
Brand Management and Innovation
Uphold Cannon Projects’ branding across all digital communications, ensuring consistency in tone, visuals and messaging.
Research industry trends and competitor activities to keep the company at the forefront of digital innovation.
Recommend and implement new tools or platforms to enhance customer experiences online.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Marketing, Web Design, or related fields.
3+ years of experience in web design, social media management & digital marketing.
Proficiency in website design platforms and tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
Expertise in digital advertising platforms (e.g. Instagram Ads Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM and digital analytics tools like Google Analytics.
Proven ability to create content tailored to specific industries (hospitality, construction, or dining preferred).
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Experience working with Nigerian and international audiences.
Familiarity with integrating booking systems, payment gateways, or customer portals.
Certifications in Google Ads, Social Media Marketing, or similar areas.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other web development languages is an advantage.
