Compensation: Basic Pay is BTW N400k – N450k Monthly (slightly negotiable) + other interesting benefits
About Company: Our client is a renowned leading Civil Engineering and Construction firm in Nigeria.
Job Summary: The company is seeking to hire a result-oriented Sales and Marketing manager who will represent the company's brand and drive strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends. This role will involve advertising and selling the company’s products and creating competitive advantages in the market industry, generating unique sales plans and creating engaging advertisements, emails, and promotional literature, develop pricing strategies, and meeting the marketing and sales objectives of the organization.
The ideal candidate for this role must also have a strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills and furthermore, possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing
Key Responsibilities:
- Promoting the company's existing brands and introducing new products to the market.
- Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.
- Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
- Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
- Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
- Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.
- Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
Requirements
- BSc in Marketing, Business Administration or any other related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing with a proven track record of success
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
- A dynamic and performance-oriented individual with strong negotiation and selling skills.
- Self-motivated and driven largely by targets
- Work well under pressure toward deadlines
Summary Of Key Performance Indices
- Revenue Generation – Achieve a minimum external revenue of N20,000,000 from both existing and new customers each month.
- Bulk Purchase/Distribution – Develop 5nos distribution network/agreement for bulk purchases of QBC current stock items (tiles, sanitary wares and accessories) each quarter.
- Research, develop and commence distribution of 2nos niche products each quarter.
- Recruit and train 6nos sales personnel for both floor and field work to cover regions within the South-South and South-East regions each quarter
