Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) Instructor

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate DFIR Instructor to lead our students through comprehensive and engaging learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deliver effective training modules on digital forensics and incident response.

2. Provide hands-on instruction in using forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, and Autopsy.

3. Guide students through real-world scenarios and labs to enhance their practical skills.

4. Design and implement an incident response strategy as part of the curriculum.

5. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in cyber security.

6. Collaborate with the curriculum development team to update training materials.

7. Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.

8. Participate in professional development and industry events to continuously improve education delivery.

Qualifications

1. Proven hands-on experience in a DFIR role, with a strong background in forensics and response techniques.

2. Prior teaching or instructing experience is preferred, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

3. Industry certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, or equivalent are highly desirable.

4. Proficiency in using DFIR tools and technologies and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).

5. Experience in developing and implementing incident response plans.

6. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

7. Ability to convey technical concepts clearly and engagingly to diverse audiences.
