Job Title: Head of Sales - Real Estate and Construction

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Work Mode: On-site, Full-time

Salary: from 800,000

A top real estate and construction company is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Sales to drive revenue growth and manage the sales team.


This role requires an individual who can develop effective sales strategies, manage key relationships, and ensure the company achieves its revenue goals.



Responsibilities

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company’s revenue goals in real estate and construction.

- Set sales targets for the team and ensure that they are met consistently.

- Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to ensure optimal performance.

- Provide regular performance feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and create development plans for team members.

- Identify and target potential clients (developers, investors, contractors) for business opportunities in real estate and construction.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, government agencies, and investors.

- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

- Ensure that contracts and agreements are in line with company policies and objectives.

- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.

- Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for senior management.

- Use data to analyze sales performance and implement improvements.

- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns that drive sales.

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand the product offering and deliver the right value proposition to clients.



Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in the real estate or construction industry.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage and motivate a sales team to achieve high performance.

- Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.

- Strong knowledge of the real estate and construction market in Nigeria.
