Job Description/Requirements
- Develop and execute digital and content strategies for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube aligned with the church’s mission.
- Create engaging posts, stories, reels, and videos that highlight sermons, events, testimonials, and inspirational content.
- Respond to comments, messages, and interactions promptly, fostering a sense of community online.
- Monitor trends and incorporate creative ideas to keep the platforms fresh and relevant.
- Design graphics for social media, newsletters, and the website using tools like Canva, Photoshop, Capcut, Inshot, etc.
- Write compelling captions, blog posts, and video descriptions that reflect the church's voice.
- Collaborate with the media team to produce high-quality video content for social media, YouTube, and live streams.
- Update the church’s website with event details, sermon uploads, and blog posts.
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, mobile-optimized, and visually appealing.
- Monitor site performance and suggest improvements (SEO, speed optimization, etc.).
- Track and analyze engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, watch time, website traffic).
- Prepare monthly reports on content performance and audience growth for social media and the website.
- Use insights to adjust strategies and enhance outreach.
- Plan and execute digital campaigns for upcoming events, special services, and programs.
- Create promotional materials for conferences, community outreaches, and special services.
- Utilize both organic strategies and paid ads (Meta Ads, Google Ads) when necessary.
- Develop and execute a member onboarding and retention plan for the church
- Build and nurture online relationships with members, followers, and partner ministries.
- Encourage user-generated content by promoting testimonies, challenges, or community hashtags.
- Draft and post content for Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and YouTube.
- Engage with followers—respond to comments and DMs.
- Track real-time analytics to monitor how posts are performing.
- Check and update the website as needed (announcements, blogs, etc.).
- Attend team meetings to discuss upcoming events and digital strategies.
- Schedule content for the week using social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite)
- Review past sermons and events to identify catchy clips for sermon bites
- Collaborate with video and design teams for upcoming campaigns.
- Provide suggestions on engaging content that can be created
- Prepare performance reports for social media and website traffic.
- Brainstorm creative campaigns for upcoming events or sermon series.
- Research digital trends and suggest new ideas to grow the church’s online presence.
- Content Creation: Skilled in copy and content writing, graphic design, and video creation for social media.
- Social Media Management: Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Tiktok, and social media tools.
- Analytics: Experience with insights tools (Meta Analytics, Google Analytics, YouTube Studio).
- SEO and Website Management: Understanding of SEO practices and basic website editing (WordPress, Wix, etc.).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to convey the church’s message effectively.
- Creativity: Ability to think outside the box, create engaging campaigns, and stay ahead of digital trends.
- Organization: Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
- Faith Alignment: Passionate about spreading the gospel and aligned with the church’s mission.
- Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Inshot, etc.).
- Design (Canva, Photoshop)
- Email marketing experience (Mailchimp, Sendinblue, ConvertKit).
- Ad management (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
