Role Description

This is a Full-time on-site position for a Direct Sales Representative (DSR) at Next Payday. The role involves engaging in direct selling activities, generating leads, converting leads into sales, and participating in business building and development initiatives. The DSR will also be involved in team customer onboarding, loan processing, and driving customer satisfaction through effective communication and sales strategies.


Responsibilities:

  • Actively carry out field visits to target customers and prepare reports on visit and submit them to the Sales Manager or Product Manager
  • Develop coordinated strategies for cluster market penetration to generate sales leads, promote company’s products to new and existing clients, and achieve sales goals
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly and yearly sales quotas
  • Identifies opportunities to increase sales in the department and assist in the development, promotion and execution of sales and marketing strategies
  • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction by managing sales process of new prospects from initial contact, through to closure
  • Monitor and ensure timely response to all customer inquiries, complaints and feedbacks
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis via market feedback to compare offerings with competition
  • Ensure timely submission and accurate update of weekly/monthly records of sales report specifying the number of sales made and customer interactions in our CRM/Spreadsheet system
  • Participate in weekly/monthly sales performance review meetings
  • Ensure compliance to all sales objectives and timely processing of all new customer transactions
  • Research and stay up-to-date on latest technologies and developments in the industry and monitor current market trends to maximize sales
  • Work harmoniously alongside other team members
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations


Qualifications

  • B.Sc. degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or any business-related field.  
  • Minimum of 2-3 years proven work experience in Direct Sales Marketing, Business Development, Client Relationship Management, preferably in a fintech, financial institution, and digital banking environment
  • Good understanding of the company’s products and services, to ensure detailed presentation of company’s product features and benefits to both existing and new customers
  • Knowledge of bank and digital banking operations, products and regulations
  • Knowledge and understanding of bank operations, products and regulations, the principles of marketing, brand management, and sales
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills, Excellent negotiation, persuasion and selling skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets in a result-oriented industry
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of customer acquisition and retention strategies
  • An effective team player with strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Have good analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional network
  • Computer proficiency with CRM software and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work without supervision and to tight deadlines
