Candidate Profile:
They seek a visionary Director of Growth & Expansion to accelerate the international market presence and build on organizations rapid growth. This role will lead strategic initiatives to enter new markets, ensuring the brand reaches its full potential in emerging and established regions alike.
What your 1st 90 days would look like:
• Market Expansion Strategy: Design and implement a robust market entry strategy targeting high-growth regions within the e-taxi and tourism sectors.
• Data-Driven Market Analysis: Utilize advanced data analytics to monitor demand, understand customer needs, and refine entry strategies.
• Partnerships & Stakeholder Management: Forge and manage key partnerships with local leaders, tourism authorities, and regulatory bodies for successful market penetration.
• Operational Framework Setup: Establish and oversee operational frameworks for new regions, focusing on scalability, compliance, and efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure cohesive, market-aligned strategies that enhance brand recognition.
• Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to executive leadership, delivering data-backed insights on market performance, customer acquisition, and growth metrics.
Key Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or International Relations is strongly preferred.
• Experience: 8+ years in strategic growth roles within the e-taxi, tourism, mobility or tech sectors, with a proven track record of international expansion.
• Emerging Markets Insight: Strong expertise in emerging markets like west Africa, East Africa & Southeast Asia, particularly in tech-driven industries.
• Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
• Relationship Builder: Adept at creating strong networks with stakeholders and partners across diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with a customer-centric, innovation-driven mindset.
