Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport staff, executives, and goods to various locations within Lagos and surrounding areas.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and clean at all times.
• Conduct regular checks on the vehicle (e.g., oil, tire pressure, brakes) to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or damages to the fleet supervisor promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods or materials if needed.
• Ensure timely arrivals and departures for scheduled appointments or tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional attitude while on duty.
• Handle vehicle documentation, such as insurance papers and licenses.
• Keep accurate records of fuel usage, trip details, and vehicle maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience.
• Valid Nigerian driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic patterns.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Punctual and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Physical fitness and good health to handle long hours of driving.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Must be flexible and available to work on weekends or outside of regular office hours if needed.

Additional skills:

• Familiarity with GPS systems and mobile apps for navigation.
• Experience with driving larger vehicles (e.g., vans, trucks) is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with different teams.
