Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport company personnel, clients, and goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations, prioritizing the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other road users.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned vehicle, both interior and exterior.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on the vehicle, including fuel, oil, and fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, trips, and vehicle maintenance.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, packages, and equipment as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant transportation experience.
- Plan routes and adjust them based on traffic or weather conditions to ensure timely arrivals.
- Coordinate with dispatch or management to receive instructions, updates, and changes in transportation assignments.
- Demonstrate a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, reflecting the company's values.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues to the appropriate authorities and company management.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, including dress code and behavior standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of SSCE or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a corporate or commercial setting.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to road etiquette.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.
- Neat and professional appearance.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.
- Ability to maintain composure and handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Physical capability to load and unload goods or luggage if needed
