Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate Caterpillar equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders.
- Inspect equipment before and after use to identify and report issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during operations.
- Follow site supervisors' instructions for equipment usage.
- Perform minor adjustments and maintenance on equipment.
- Monitor fuel and fluid levels during operations.
- Maintain records of daily usage and performance.
- Transport equipment safely to and from job sites.
- Avoid damage to equipment, materials, and surroundings.
- Conduct equipment shutdowns safely and securely.
- Attend regular training on Caterpillar machinery operations.
- Report breakdowns and accidents promptly.
- Collaborate with mechanics for major repairs or servicing.
- Stay updated on best practices for operating heavy machinery.
- Assist in other site tasks as directed by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license for heavy machinery operation.
- 10+ years of experience operating Caterpillar equipment.
- Certification in heavy machinery operation and safety compliance.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations.
