Driver

Responsibilities:

• Transportation Services:
• Safely transport executives, staff, and clients to and from designated locations in a timely manner.
• Ensure passengers' comfort and safety during the journey.
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle and with their luggage if necessary.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Perform regular checks on the company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Schedule and oversee routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Keep the vehicles clean and presentable at all times.

• Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents immediately to the Logistics Manager.
• Ensure all relevant documentation, such as vehicle registration and insurance, is up to date.

• Customer Service:

• Provide a high level of customer service to all passengers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

• Compliance:

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.

Requirements:

• Valid Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a professional driver or chauffeur, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Abuja and surrounding areas.
• Excellent driving skills and a solid understanding of road safety regulations.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Punctual and reliable.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for long periods and drive long distances if necessary.
• Capability to lift and carry luggage or other items up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

• Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
• Occasional long-distance travel may be required.
