Job Description/Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop financial strategies, forecasts and budgets to ensure the company’s financial health.
- Oversee the preparation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring spending aligns with the financial goals.
- Prepare financial statements, reports and summaries for management, stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and manage cashflow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the company adheres to relevant financial laws, regulations and accounting standards.
- Analyze and control operational costs, finding ways to improve efficiency and profitability.
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor Degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting or a related discipline from a reputable educational institution
- Must be a Chartered Accountant – ACA, ACCA, etc.
- Proven experience in similar position is required
- Proven competence in bookkeeping, accounting and financial analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges and emergencies
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Must think independently to make decisions under pressure.
