Electromechanical Maintenance Technician/Engineer

Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance and Repair:

• Responsible for the daily inspection, maintenance, and servicing of electromechanical equipment in mines and processing plants to ensure optimal operational performance.
• Timely repair of malfunctioning equipment, conducting root cause analysis, and proposing improvement measures.

Equipment Management:

• Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly maintenance plans for equipment and execute them punctually.
• Monitor operating parameters of critical equipment; regularly record and analyze data to identify anomalies for prompt resolution.

Technical Support:

• Assist the technical department in optimizing the performance and lifespan of electromechanical equipment.
• Participate in the installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of new equipment to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

Safety Production:

• Strictly adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) management protocols to guarantee safe practices during maintenance operations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections on equipment to identify potential hazards and provide corrective recommendations.

Training and Guidance:

• Provide training on proper usage and basic maintenance of equipment to operators in order to enhance operational standards.
• Mentor new employees by imparting repair techniques and sharing relevant experiences.

Requirements:

• Technical secondary school diploma or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in repairing mining or industrial electromechanical equipment with a background in mining or processing industries preferred.
• Previous professional skills training is required
• Familiarity with common excavation and mineral processing machinery such as crushers, ball mills, flotation machines, filter presses, drilling rigs, rock drills, motors, pumps, etc., is essential.
• Proficient understanding of principles related to electromechanical devices along with strong knowledge in both high voltage (HV) & low voltage (LV) systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics as well as mechanical drawings; 
• Proficient use of diagnostic instruments and repair tools is necessary.
• Expertise must be demonstrated either mechanically or electrically at a minimum level.
