Verbatim Court Reporting Trainee

Training Journey:
As a Verbatim Reporting Trainee, you will undergo rigorous training to master the following essential skills:

• Stenography and Verbatim Court Reporting: Learn to utilize specialized stenography equipment to capture spoken words with speed and high accuracy.
• English Usage and Grammar: Develop expertise in world-standard use of English language, grammar and punctuations to turn your transcripts into clear, concise legal documents.
• Legal Terminology: Gain a comprehensive understanding of legal jargons and procedures.

Assessment Process: To ensure we select the most qualified candidates, shortlisted applicants will be tested in the following areas

• Mechanical Accuracy: Demonstrate your impeccable writing skills with proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Finger Dexterity: Showcase your typing speed and accuracy, as well as your potential ability to utilize stenography equipment.
• Hearing Acuity: Confirm your ability to hear clearly in both ears, with or without the use of hearing aids.

Requirements:

• First Degree or Higher National Diploma. Sound OND holders may apply.
• Good command of English Language Grammar (spelling, punctuation, etc.).
• Ability to play any musical instrument may be an added advantage.
• Residing in Enugu state is an added advantage.
