Job Overview:

We’re seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and creative Event Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of our flagship events. You’ll be responsible for ensuring every aspect of our housing show and related activations runs smoothly and delivers a memorable, impactful experience to attendees, exhibitors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute all aspects of the Africa International Housing Show and related events (pre-event planning, onsite management, post-event reporting).

Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, exhibitors, media, and internal teams.

Oversee event budgets, timelines, logistics, and deliverables.

Develop detailed project plans and risk management strategies.

Lead marketing efforts in collaboration with the communications team.

Ensure excellent attendee experience through registration, hospitality, and engagement initiatives.

Monitor event performance metrics and provide insightful post-event analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning or project management.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Experience working with large-scale events, preferably in housing, construction, or real estate.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Proficient with event management tools and software.
