Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of a variety of events, including corporate functions, weddings, and community gatherings in our 5 star luxury hotel, Grandswiss hotel located in Anambra state. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from conception to completion.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
- Develop event budgets and manage expenses to ensure profitability.
- Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues.
- Create event timelines and checklists to ensure all details are covered.
- Coordinate logistics, including catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
- Manage on-site event operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Handle post-event evaluations and feedback to improve future events.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Event Manager or similar role (3+ years preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
