Job Description/Requirements
The Executive and Project Support Officer provides:
- Executive, secretarial and administrative support to the Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS) Nursing Director and CHaPS Assistant Directors of Nursing.
- High level administrative, program and project support across CHaPS Executive.
- Provide high level executive support to CHaPS Executive and lead staff, as assigned, including monitoring and managing inboxes in consultation with the Nursing Director - CHaPS coordinating travel, accommodation and meetings, electronic diary management, scheduling appointments, organising meeting requirements, collation of papers, and preparing and handling highly confidential, politically sensitive and complex documentation and enquiries.
- Provide high level secretarial support to senior staff in relation to activities and initiatives, including preparation of highly confidential documents, such as Ministerial correspondence, Cabinet Submissions and reports.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective workflow and sharing of information across the Agency, Office of the Secretary and the Minister’s Office by providing a single focal point for incoming and outgoing high-level communications and documentation for CHaPS Directorate.
Details of Appointment
Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

- Current Working with Children Registration
- Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
