Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and adaptable Executive Assistant to support the office of CEO. This role is pivotal in helping the CEO manage day-to-day operations, scale business initiatives, The position requires continual attention to detail, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage an extremely active calendar of appointments and prioritize the CEO’s calendar
- Manage a wide range of responsibilities with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing and streamlining communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Prepare and organize meeting agendas, presentations, and reports for executive meetings, board sessions, and other key events, ensuring the CEO is well-prepared.
- Support with logistics-related tasks and attend key events within and also outside Lagos, when necessary.
- Handle incoming communications (emails, calls, messages), filtering and prioritizing requests, and ensuring timely responses.
- Draft, edit, and proofread documents, emails, and other communication materials on behalf of the CEO.
- Perform work projects and job tasks as defined and directed by the CEO
- Assist in planning and coordinating special projects and company initiatives, ensuring project goals are met on time and aligning with small and medium enterprise’s priorities.
- Liaise across teams, particularly with Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations, to facilitate cross-functional project progress and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Conduct industry and market research to support strategic initiatives, helping the CEO make data-informed decisions.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for company events, team off-sites, investor meetings, and other gatherings attended by these CEOs, handling everything from vendor arrangements to schedule planning.
- Take ownership of organizing both virtual and in-person meetings, including setting up conference calls, preparing materials, and tracking follow-up actions.
- Handle sensitive information and documents with the utmost confidentiality and integrity.
- Assist with occasional personal tasks as needed to support the CEO’s work-life balance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/ HND in business communications or a related field
- Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience providing executive support in a startup Technology or Confectionery Packaging Company or related company
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- Expert-level written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges with a flexible, can-do attitude
- Proactive, with a knack for identifying challenges and proposing solutions
- Thrives in a dynamic startup environment with an ability to adjust to rapid changes.
- Tech-Savvy Comfortable with technology and a quick learner when it comes to new tools and platforms.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
