Overview 

Sydani is seeking Experienced Associates to serve as technical experts in the following focus areas.

1. Immunization

2. Health system strengthening

3. Global and general health consulting

You will work closely with governments, donors, and international organizations to develop data-driven strategies that improve vaccine access, health financing, and primary healthcare system efficiency.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and expertise in health policy and economics, combined with the ability to work in high-pressure environments and drive results for clients.

Specific Tasks 

1. Technical Advisory and Strategy Development

§ Design and implement evidence-based immunization strategies to improve vaccine coverage and equity.

§ Support governments in developing national immunization plans, including cost-effectiveness analysis, financing models, and health policy recommendations.

§ Analyze vaccine supply chains, procurement strategies, and service delivery bottlenecks.

§ Assess and advise on immunization financing, including transition planning from donor funding (e.g., Gavi exit strategies).

2. Data Analysis and Impact Evaluation

§ Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, including health system diagnostics, funding gap analysis, and cost-benefit assessments.

§ Work with big data, epidemiological models, and advanced analytics tools to support client decision-making.

§ Utilize health system performance indicators to track, monitor, and improve immunization and primary healthcare outcomes.

§ Collaborate with data science teams to develop dashboards and visualizations for real-time policy impact tracking.

3. Health System Strengthening and Policy Support.

§ Provide technical assistance on health workforce capacity building, governance, and infrastructure improvements.

§ Develop and implement disease surveillance and outbreak response frameworks.

§ Advise on digital health solutions, including AI-driven analytics for vaccine distribution and cold chain management.

§ Contribute to national healthcare financing reforms to ensure the sustainability of immunization programs.

4. Stakeholder Engagement and Consulting Delivery

§ Work directly with ministries of health, multilateral organizations, and private sector partners.

§ Support policy dialogues and strategic planning workshops with country health leaders and global health donors.

§ Prepare and present high-impact reports, white papers, and executive-level presentations to inform decision-making.

§ Manage client relationships, providing data-driven insights that shape global health policies and investments.

Our Ideal Candidate 

§ Master’s degree or PhD in public health, health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field.

§ 3–7 years of experience in health systems consulting, global health advisory, or working with international organizations

§ Expertise in immunization programs, health financing, and healthcare strategy development.

§ Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with experience using Excel, R, Python, Stata, or Power BI.

§ Consulting experience with top-tier firms (McKinsey, BCG, Dalberg, or similar) or leading global health institutions is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

§ Experience working in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) on health system strengthening initiatives.

§ Proficiency in immunization systems modelling for health interventions.

§ Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills for working with high-level stakeholders.
