Job Summary
Netconstruct Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects in Lagos and Abuja. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex residential and commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Management: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets, and ensure all projects are executed according to these plans.
- Team Coordination: Lead, manage, and coordinate on-site construction teams, ensuring tasks are delegated effectively, and team members are aligned with project goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project costs and work with the finance department to ensure projects are delivered within budget. Approve expenditures and manage project cash flows.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all construction activities comply with building codes, regulations, and company standards. Regularly inspect work for quality assurance.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Contract Management: Oversee contractor and subcontractor agreements, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and managing any disputes that may arise.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for all site workers.
- Project Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics such as progress vs. plan, budget adherence, and risk status.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects.
- Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management tools, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Familiarity with Abuja's regulatory environment and local construction industry standards.
