We seek a Fabric Sales Representative to be responsible for selling textile materials to walk-in customers. The role involves building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing fabric solutions that meet quality and budget requirements.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including fashion designers, upholstery manufacturers, and retail fabric stores.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry trade shows.
  • Present and demonstrate fabric samples, explaining their quality, composition, and applications.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contract agreements with clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor offerings.
  • Work closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and stock availability.
  • Address customer concerns, provide after-sales support, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market insights.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in textiles, fashion, or home furnishings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and negotiate deals.
  • Knowledge of different types of fabrics, their properties, and applications.
  • Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and manage a customer portfolio.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
  • Degree in business, Textile Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the textile or apparel industry.
