Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Fabrication:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape metal materials to the required dimensions using tools such as saws, grinders, and shears.
- Assemble metal components for welding.
Welding:
- Operate welding equipment to join metal parts using techniques like MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
- Perform spot, seam, and continuous welding as per project requirements.
- Inspect welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with standards.
Quality Assurance:
- Check finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and repair defects or inconsistencies in welds or fabricated parts.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and clean welding and fabrication equipment.
- Report any malfunctions or required repairs to supervisors.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all workplace safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years experience in familiar role
