Job Summary
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the estate’s facilities. This role involves managing a variety of services and tasks to ensure the estate remains in excellent condition and operates smoothly. The Facility Manager will coordinate staff, maintenance contractors, and vendors, ensuring all systems are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with regulations

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance of all buildings, grounds, and amenities on the estate, including landscaping, cleaning, and repair services.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure that systems (plumbing, electrical,etc.) are well-maintained and in good working order.
- Schedule and supervise routine inspections to assess the condition of property infrastructure and assets.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with external service providers, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct performance reviews for contractors and vendors, ensuring they meet estate standards.
Staff Management:
- Supervise, train, and manage facility staff (groundskeepers, housekeepers, maintenance technicians, etc.).
- Set staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor job completion to ensure quality service.
- Promote a safe and effective working environment for all facility personnel.
Property Management and Security:
- Oversee the security of the estate, including surveillance systems, alarms, and coordination with security personnel.
- Maintain access control and monitor the premises for potential risks or hazards.
- Address any property-related concerns or emergencies promptly.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in facility management or related roles, preferably in estate or residential management.
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial reports effectively.
- Experience with managing external contractors and vendors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Remuneration: NGN 100,000 - 120,000
