Job Summary
As the Facility Manager, you will be required to oversee the effective management of the office building, both internal and external areas, and ensure that the facility is safe and functioning.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Effectively delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members
- Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior office areas, such as board room, open work areas, toilets etc
- Ensure routine maintenance is carried out on facilities and make repairs as needed
- Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
- Maintain a comprehensive vendor database
- Ensure proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with the existing security company
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
- Create regular reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
- Prepare the facility for changing weather conditions
- Collaborate with building admin, HR, and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Office Administration or related field
- 4-6 years of proven experience, with at least 2 of those years in a senior role
- Good understanding of technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking skills
- Self motivated and good leader
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
