Job Summary

We are looking to hire a Facility Officer to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensuring that facilities are safe and well-functioning.

  • Minimum Qualification : HND
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 2 years
  • Working Hours : Full Time

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
  • Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
  • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
  • Supervising team of staff, including cleaning, maintenance, and security.
  • Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and heating, are well maintained.
  • Ensuring that the properties are well-maintained at all times
  • Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security, etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum HND / BSc / BA in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven 1-3 years experience as a facility officer
  • Knowledge of technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Good analytical/critical thinking.
