Role and Facility Information
Come and join a well established electronic Medical Clinic conveniently located across the road from the Health Centre in beautiful Chase, BC. In this role you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing primary care. The Chase Community Health Centre offers a five bed emergency department and delivers a variety of services in one location.
This is your opportunity to practice a broad spectrum of medicine in a community setting. The centre offers the following services: Laboratory; X-ray; Registered Nursing care; on site counselors; on site Home and Community Care; Public Health; Respiratory Therapist; Diabetic Nurse; and a Dietitian.
At the western gateway of the spectacular Shuswap Lake system is the Village of Chase, a vibrant and progressive lakeshore community that offers a full range of services, an abundance of recreational opportunities and scenic splendor. This business friendly community, within close proximity to the larger centers of Kamloops and Salmon Arm, has something for everyone. You will find friendly welcoming people willing to assist you in whatever venture you are looking to pursue, affordable housing, a warm and sunny climate and plenty of ways to relax in nature or enjoy an active lifestyle.
In the summer you can go swimming, boating, golfing, hiking, zip lining, fishing, white-water rafting, house boating, cycling or camping. Benefits and Incentives
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 10.78% Retention Flat Fee $16,705.92and Rural CME allowance Relocation Funding Available $9,000 - $15,000 based on move location Recruitment Incentive $15,000 (for Full-time) Other Benefits/Incentives *Incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at time of offer* Candidates with a BC or Canada student loan may be eligible for loan forgiveness programs.
