Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Manager with expertise in organic farming practices to manage our farm operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing organic fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, microbial solutions, and compost tea.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily farm operations, ensuring optimal crop yields and quality.
- Develop and implement organic farming strategies.
- Prepare organic fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, and microbial solutions.
- Conduct soil analysis and implement soil conservation techniques.
- Supervise and train farm staff.
- Maintain farm records and reports.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in organic farming management.
- Proven experience in running or starting own organic farm.
- Strong knowledge of organic farming practices, soil science, and crop management.
- Experience with compost tea, microbial solutions, and integrated pest management.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field.
Desirable Skills:
