Role Overview:



As the Senior Business Development Manager at Eazzy Tranzact, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. You will leverage your extensive experience in FX sales and cross-border payments to build and manage a portfolio of high-value clients, while working closely with internal teams—product, compliance, marketing, and leadership—to tailor our offerings to diverse market segments.



What You'll Be Doing:



We’re looking for a strategic and driven individual ready to step up as our Senior Business Development Manager. Your primary goal will be to build, nurture, and expand a dynamic portfolio of clients, focusing on businesses with complex cross-border payment needs.



Key Responsibilities:



  • New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify and qualify sales opportunities using various channels such as CRM systems -Hubspot, internet research, LinkedIn, and networking events.


  • Client Portfolio Management: Cultivate and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value clients, leveraging your industry expertise to deliver tailored solutions in international payments and FX.


  • Sales Target Achievement: Consistently exceed sales targets through both self-generated and referral-based opportunities, identifying key client needs and offering bespoke solutions.


  • Product Showcase: Present Eazzy Tranzact’s comprehensive suite of International Payment solutions to global businesses, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of their challenges.


  • Compliance & Regulations: Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure full adherence to regulations and best business practices in all sales activities.


  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the leadership team, to align sales strategies with company objectives.


  • Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a role model to junior sales reps, offering occasional guidance and oversight to support their development and performance.


  • Sales Reporting: Regularly update and manage sales pipeline reports for the Team Lead, ensuring accurate tracking of progress against targets.




Must-Have Qualifications:



  • Industry Expertise: Extensive knowledge of FX sales, cross-border payments, and macroeconomic analysis, with a deep understanding of how these factors influence the market.


  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in originating, managing, and closing high-value sales opportunities, with a strong portfolio of clients in financial services or fintech.


  • FX Sales Experience: Previous experience in FX sales within a banking or fintech environment, with a clear history of success in driving revenue and building client relationships.


  • Client-Focused Approach: Practical knowledge in building and managing a diverse client portfolio, with a deep commitment to delivering outstanding client experiences.


  • Excellent Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey complex financial solutions clearly and persuasively.


  • Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of macroeconomic trends and their impact on FX and cross-border payments, allowing for insightful market analysis and strategy development.


  • Self-Starter: A proactive individual with a strategic mindset and the ability to originate innovative sales ideas and execute campaigns independently.




Desired Experience:



  • Managerial Experience: Some leadership or mentoring experience in managing sales teams.
  • Emerging Markets Expertise: Familiarity with FX sales in emerging markets, particularly across Africa or other high-growth regions, is highly desirable.
  • Lagos-Based Candidate: A candidate based in Lagos with existing knowledge of the financial services landscape.
