Job Description/Requirements
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information for managerial staff, while recommending further courses of action.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies for the company to pursue.
- Maintain the financial health of the organization.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget and forecast
- Tax remittance to the right authority
- Lead a team and other associated department
- Reconcile bank statements, POS transactions, and daily booking
- Can prepare management account and other necessary books
- Prepare members' tab statements
- Issues invoices for events and clients
- Liaise with the Kitchen on cost and pricing of items
- conduct the affairs of the procurement and inventory team
- Creates checks and balances, and improves procedures.
- Liaise with the Group Finance Manager to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Ensure proper inventory management and reporting.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in Hospitality (Restaurant & Bar) as a Financial Manager
- Inventory management
- Extensive understanding of financial trends within the company and general market patterns
- Proficiency in finance software such as Quickbooks, Sage, and other accounting and inventory system
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
