Job Summary

We require a Financial Manager to thoroughly analyze daily financial activities and provide decisive advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans. The manager will also be accountable for ensuring precise inventory management.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information for managerial staff, while recommending further courses of action.
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies for the company to pursue.
  • Maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget and forecast
  • Tax remittance to the right authority
  • Lead a team and other associated department
  • Reconcile bank statements, POS transactions, and daily booking 
  • Can prepare management account and other necessary books
  • Prepare members' tab statements 
  • Issues invoices for events and clients 
  • Liaise with the Kitchen on cost and pricing of items 
  • conduct the affairs of the procurement and inventory team 
  • Creates checks and balances, and improves procedures.
  • Liaise with the Group Finance Manager to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Ensure proper inventory management and reporting.
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in Hospitality (Restaurant & Bar) as a Financial Manager
  • Inventory management
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends within the company and general market patterns
  • Proficiency in finance software such as Quickbooks, Sage, and other accounting and inventory system 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
