Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess risk and support business case development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for financial planning and model assumptions.
- Support senior management with ad-hoc analysis and decision support.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of board reports, investor presentations, and financial reviews.
Requirements:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in financial modelling and management accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and ideally VBA or Power Query).
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional accounting qualification (or working towards): ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) is a plus.
