Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and periodic reports for review.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and forecasts.
- Support budget preparation and monitor actual performance against budget.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Assist in audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify variances and trends.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for operations.
- Manage petty cash and process payments.
- Assist in payroll preparation and ensure timely payments.
- Handle statutory deductions and remittances.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a finance officer
- BSc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar course of study
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Familiarity with BankOne
- Knowledge of financial regulations and tax compliance
